Since July 1, 1999, current McKay Music Company owners James and Denise Coffman have continued the tradition of providing quality sales, service, and repair to school bands across Northeast Texas which was established in 1954 by original owners, Kenneth and Billie McKay, and continued by owners, Bob and Sandra Cartwright from 1980 to 1999. It is the belief of McKay Music Company to enhance learning opportunities for students by providing only the highest quality instruments available from the leaders in instrument manufacturing across the world. McKay Music Company also provides weekly service visits to schools and utilizes highly skilled and experienced repair technicians for the best quality repair service in Northeast Texas.
Currently, McKay Music Company maintains two store fronts (Sulphur Springs, Texas and Garland, Texas). Road service to schools is provided by experienced Texas educators; therefore, you truly have educators serving educators.
In addition to serving the needs of school bands, McKay Music also welcomes local musicians, amateur and professional, and seeks to provide only top quality gear and service. Our professional staff welcomes any manner we may be of service in providing your musical needs.
